When our hotel guests came home after a long day of wine tasting, hiking or horse riding they were often reluctant to go out again in the evening. But they were hungry. This was how the idea of a restaurant was born.
We decided to go all in and create a place that exudes Chile and what Chile does best, namely fantastic poetry.
Restaurante Los Poetas is dedicated to Chile’s wonderful poets such as Pablo Neruda and Gabriela Mistral (both won the Nobel Prize in Literature), Pablo de Rokha, Vicente Huidobro and of course the one and only Nicanor Parra.
We serve Chilean food with an international touch and our chef Hernán Hernández is having a blast working with the local produce. Chile is Paradise when it comes to fresh fruits and vegetables and Colchagua Valley is Chile’s great pantry where everything is grown. Hernán is mostly inspired by Chilean cuisine, which includes both fish and meat, but he likes to experiment with Chilean products and of course we also have food for vegetarians and vegans.
We are open to everyone who wants a tasty meal overlooking the vineyards from our large covered terrace or in the garden.
